Simple Present Tense :):)

Well that's a very important verb tense..well all are actually...but after u learn the To Be....u feel ure really learning English coz at School u study to be and to be and to be but u never know what the hell is this f......verb about.....of course u just write and write and never really learn rsrsrrs anyway lets get back to the Simple Present Verb tense
There are different time and using of it so lets check it by each one ok???
Use1: Repeated actions in the present time(duhhhhhhh)

past              present             future
We use the Simple present to talk about things that happen repeatedly or usually as a habit, a hobby, a daily event, a scheduled event or something that often happens.
e.g.:

I play tennis.
She does not play tennis.
They do not play tennis.
Use2: Facts or generalization(wtf??)

Past             Present           future
The Simple present can also indicates the speaker believes that a fact is true now. It is not important if the speaker is correct about the fact. It is also used to make generalizations about people or things.
e.g.:

Cats like milk.
Birds do not like milk.
Do pigs like milk?
Use3: Scheduled events in the near future.
                                   X
Past             Present           Future
We occasionally use Simple present to talk about scheduled events in the near future. This is most commonly done when talking about public transportation, but it can be used with other scheduled events as well.

e.g.:
The train leaves tonight at 6 pm.
The train does not arrive tonight at 6 pm.
Does the Train arrive tonight at 8 pm?

Auxiliary Verbs
In the Simple present tense the auxiliary verbs are: Do and Does.


They are used in interrogatives and negatives sentences to show the Simple present is being used.
e.g.:
Do you work a lot?
Does she like him?
She doesn’t like that dog.
I don’t study English on Saturdays.

Use4: Now(non-continuous verbs)
We sometimes use the Simple present to express the idea that an action is happening now. This can only be done with non-continuous verbs and mixed verbs.

e.g.:
I am here now.
He needs help right now.
Do you have your passport with you?

Non-continuous verbs: Usually things you cannot see somebody doing. They are rarely used in continuous sentence. They are:


Abstract verbs: to be, to want, to cost, to seem, to need, to care, to contain, to owe and to exist. (There are others but here just the most common ones).

Possession verbs: to possess, to own, and to belong. (There are others).

Emotion verbs: To like, to love, to hate, to dislike, to fear, to envy, to mind. (There are others).

Mixed verbs: These verbs have more than one meaning. In a way, each meaning is a unique verb. Some meanings behave like “non-continuous verbs”, while others behave like “normal verbs”.
To appear, to feel, to have, to hear, to look, to see and to weigh.(There are others).

Verb tenses!!!

Well I realized the students reallyyyyyyyy need to review the verb tenses....why??I dont know....lol its always about practicing...well maybe thats the point.....they are not :(:( what a f....bad thing to do guys.....come on its just about wasting a little time with this f....language and thats it...ure ready to say I do speak English mother f..... lololol
So.....lets see what can I do to pretend I will help u.....but u need to be willing to do sth for ur life...I mean homework....bla bla bla....
So today were gonna start with the To Be verb
yeah that sucks..I agree but u guys have to remember or review or learn or whatever and as everything we have to start from it ok??so dont cry lolololol ok u can call me Bitch if u want and makes u happy :):) anyway lets start then??
To Be Verb(Present form)
Use:To talk about feelings or characteristics.
As any other verb its presented in the present,past or participle form but we are first gonna see it in the present form ok??
The To Be verb is represented by 3 verbs:AM,ARE and IS.
Why 3 forms to say the same thing??yeah English sucks sometimes but....if we cant change then lets face it and learn!!!So each one depends on the person u want to talk about as the following:
I AM
You/We/They ARE
He/She/It IS
wel yeah yeah yeah u have to memorize it but remember memorize is not taking the paper and go to the loo and read and read and read over and over again noooooooooooo u memorize by practicing yeah yeah yeah make this fat lazy brain work by thinking :):)
Structure:
As in every language we need to say or write or whatever sentences in affirmative,negative and of course interrogative so.....lets do it!!
Affirmative:
I am tired.
You/we/they are cool.
He/She/It is hot.
Easy??well if its not then grab ur dictionary ok??do sth lazy ass lol

Negative:to use it we need the negative word NOT so lets see where it goes
I am NOT tired.
You/We/They are NOT cool.
He/She/It is NOT hot.
obs:So NOt goes right after the to be verb!!!

Interrogative:
Am I tired?(weird I know I know but I must write this here sorry guys kkk)
Are you/we/they cool?
Is she/He/It hot?
obs: So...the to be verb goes to the front of the sentence to show that a question is coming....weird but true :):)

well thats it for today BUT try to do now some Interrogative-negative sentences!!!Its easy..u know that!!rsrsrs and well If u didnt understand a word of what I wrote then write me asking about ur doubts ok??

Why??

Well I realized that some plp dont learn English or any other language coz they dont bring it to their lives....the reason?I really dont know so..I decided to make the learning process to be fun for them...and I wont stop practicing my English as wel...I hope everyday post an activity or a video and exchange experiences with English students specially the brazilian ones :):)
